Meet Derrick Leidy

Derrick Leidy

Master Plumber, bringing two decades of deep industry expertise, strategic leadership, and technical mastery to the executive team. Beginning his plumbing career in 2006 as a hands-on service technician, Derrick earned his Master Plumber license and developed a specialized passion for diagnosing and engineering solutions for highly complex commercial and residential systems.

In 2015, Derrick transitioned into corporate operations, excelling as a Commercial Estimator and Project Manager. Throughout his tenure, he established a stellar reputation for delivering large-scale projects strictly on time and within budget, all while championing field morale and fostering a collaborative team culture. Promoted to General Manager in 2024, Derrick now directs Elek Plumbing’s overarching strategy, operational efficiency, and market expansion, with a resolute mission to build and sustain the premier plumbing enterprise in the Lehigh Valley.

Outside of his executive responsibilities, Derrick is deeply devoted to his family. Happily married with three children, he spends much of his personal time supporting his kids across their various active sports schedules and community youth leagues.
